At Resuscitation Australia, the heart of our mixed-mode Advanced Life Support (ALS) course design lies in delivering exceptional education that empowers healthcare professionals with critical, life-saving skills.
Gaining post-course participant feedback is a cornerstone of our commitment to excellence and is supported by our Quality Assurance Framework. Hearing directly from those who complete our courses allows us to continuously refine and enhance our programs to meet the highest standards of ALS education and training.
Feedback captured following two ALS1 courses, held in Brisbane on 17 January 2025, underscores the strength of our program and highlights the pivotal role played by our accredited Resuscitation Australia ALS instructors.

- “Fantastic communication and support”.
We asked Dale about his experience teaching on the Resuscitation Australia ALS1 course:
“I’m really enjoying supporting participants on the RA ALS courses. In particular, the blended learning approach, combining self-paced eLearning modules with hands-on training, allows participants to come to the face-to-face training session feeling prepared and confident, ready to dive into practical application.
The continuous assessment style is also a game-changer—it creates a supportive environment where participants can steadily build their skills without the pressure of traditional terminal assessment. It’s encouraging to see how this approach not only enhances their learning but also their confidence in real-world scenarios.”

Overall Course Experience
Participants overwhelmingly rated their overall ALS1 course experience as “excellent”. They described the course as practical, engaging, and highly effective in building confidence and competence in ALS techniques. Additionally, 100% of respondents considered the mixed-mode blended learning approach (combination of elearning and face-to-face training) to be effective for the delivery of Advanced Life Support training. Many indicated they would recommend the course to colleagues, highlighting its relevance and quality.
This feedback highlights not only the strength of the curriculum but also the critical role and expertise of RA accredited instructors like Dale Gorry.
