Instructor Accreditation Program (IAP)

Eligibility

Candidates should fulfil the requirements set out in Resuscitation Australia’s IAP Participant Suitability Policy.

You work in clinical role where resuscitation may form part of your duties, and you hold a current RA or ARC ALS1/ALS2 certification.

Your clinical skills are recognised through either an 8+ Likert score on an RA ALS course, or an “Instructor Potential” identification on an ARC course.

You communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships in team settings.

And are interested in adult learning, and developing others through respectful, psychologically safe feedback: you’re a coach, not a critic.

Your referees can corroborate what you’ve told us, especially about your non-technical skills, and you’re comfortable with us contacting them.
