Join our Team! We’re recruiting for a Course Administrator

Resuscitation Australia (RA) is committed to facilitating excellence in resuscitation education and training and we’re looking for a dynamic, professional and friendly Course Administrator to join the resuscitation revolution!

Our advanced, evidence-based, and clinically relevant mixed-mode Advanced Life Support courses are designed to enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional outcomes for health services both across Australia and internationally.

Position Overview:

Resuscitation Australia is seeking a proactive and highly organised Course Administrator to support our growing team and increasingly busy course calendar.

This key role involves coordinating and managing Resuscitation Australia’s course offering including our Instructor Accreditation Program (IAP) and mixed-mode Advanced Life Support courses, which are delivered by our accredited course centres, including hospital and health service organisations across Australia.

The role is highly communicative and relational – you will liaise with Faculty members, course participants and accredited course centres to ensure seamless operations and effective communication externally and across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), in response to operational requirements.
  • Provide course scheduling and administrative support in the delivery of Resuscitation Australia’s Instructor Accreditation Program (IAP), including liaising with course participants, managing bookings and transfers and arranging course logistics, for example, venues and catering.
  • Assist in the preparation and sharing of course documentation with IAP course participants and course Faculty.
  • Liaise with accredited course centres/training providers in a professional and engaging manner, assisting with general enquiries and course related administration, in relation to their delivery of RA accredited ALS courses.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure digital encrypted certifications are issued efficiently in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the healthcare or educational sector. Experience in events administration will also be highly regarded. We seek to provide an exceptional experience for all course participants and you will be instrumental in helping us deliver against this objective!
  • Strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanour.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software and management tools (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have experience with web and learning management tools such as WordPress, Articulate, and LearnDash, as well as a general proficiency in managing online platforms and content. Rest assured, training will be provided should the successful candidate not be familiar with this tech stack.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in administration, management, or a related field.
