Resuscitation Australia has released its Board Expression of Interest Information Pack, marking the next step in strengthening the organisation’s governance as its national footprint continues to grow.
As Resuscitation Australia welcomes new Accredited Course Centres and expands access to Advanced Life Support training across the country, the appointment of non-executive directors will bring independent oversight, strategic depth, and specialist expertise to guide the organisation’s next phase. The Board will also safeguard Resuscitation Australia’s social enterprise mandate, to advance high-quality, evidence-based resuscitation education that supports safe, effective emergency care for patients nationwide, in accordance with ANZCOR recommendations.
Resuscitation Australia is seeking to appoint a Board of seven to nine directors against the capability, skills and representation profiles set out in the Information Pack. As part of this process, Resuscitation Australia will be appointing a Board Chair, Company Secretary and Treasurer.
These are voluntary, non-remunerated appointments, offered for an initial two-year term. We warmly invite suitably qualified individuals who share our commitment to evidence-based resuscitation education, and who bring sound judgement and the independence of mind to hold management constructively to account, to express their interest.
Resuscitation Australia thanks Mills Oakley for its support in facilitating this process. Mills Oakley is a leading Australian law firm with a recognised practice advising organisations on governance, and is acting as the independent point of contact for all expressions of interest.
